By participating in GWC walks you are agreeing:
- To ensure your fitness level is suitable for the walk you are participating in.
- To comply with the Walk Leader’s instructions and pace of the walk
- To carry your own First Aid kit including a survival bag, a face mask, gloves and hand sanitizer.
- To take full responsibility for your own safety and to adhere to public health & safety guidelines.
- To abstain from GWC walks if you have symptoms of Covid-19, if you are a close contact of a Covid-19 case or if you are awaiting the results of a PCR test.

Car Pooling: In order to mitigate the impact on the environment and address car parking issues it is recommended that walkers car pool where possible. The recommended contribution to the driver is €5 for a journey of less than 20km and €10 for a journey in excess of 20km per passenger. GWC Members please use the dedicated WhatsApp group for your walk to arrange for car pooling.
Guests & New Members: Guests are allowed on GWC walks at a cost of €5 for a short walk and €10 for all other walks. N.B.: In order to ensure the safety of all walkers it is recommended that all guests and new members complete a ramble before participating in any of the hill walks. Guests are not allowed on A hill walks.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on GWC walks.
