Additional Information:
GWC membership includes Mountaineering Ireland membership.
Membership is only available online. We no longer accept cheques/cash/bank transfer.
MI (Mountaineering Ireland) and GWC (Galway Walking Club) membership run concurrently and membership is valid from 1-Nov to 31-Oct. This applies regardless of when enrollment is registered.
Also, you will be insured from the time you register and pay your membership fee but it can take up to 6 weeks for your MI Membership card to deliver to the club. Please collect your card at a meeting in Tonery’s Bar in Bohermore.
The GWC AGM is held in October each year.
